Itinerary of 3 Days Tour from Marrakech to Merzouga:

Your three days excursion starting from Marrakech until Merzouga desert will begin at about 07h30 in the morning, from your hotel or riad.

Our 3-day Morocco desert excursion by driving into Kasbah Ben Hadou. We will first need to travel over Tizi Ntichka pass and the High Atlas Mountains. There will be numerous stops throughout the journey. Take a look at the UNESCO world heritage site Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. The amazing village was also used as a setting for several Hollywood blockbusters.

We drive to Ouarzazate for lunch ( at leisure ). After lunch, we head towards the oasis in Skoura that is known by its Kasbah of Amridil and is worth a stop.

The journey continues through to the Valley of the Roses and the village of Kalaa Mgouna. This part of Morocco is known for its Damascus rose distillation facilities. From the car's window you can see incredible fortified Adobe Berber settlements, also known as Ksours. The hotel is located at Dades Valley, where you can have the traditional Moroccan dinner, and stay the night.

After breakfast, travel along The 1001 Kasbahs road until Tinghir. When you arrive at this beautiful place, you can take a strolling through to the Todgha riverbanks. Visit Berber Villages and Ksours. When you get to the enormous Cliffs that make up Todgha canyons, you'll find that your hike was well-worth it!

Have a wonderful Berber lunch during your leisure time at the Gorges before heading to Merzouga.

On arrival to Erg Chebbi, meet your camel caravan near where the roads ends. Ride your camel across the dunes that change color to witness an incredibly spectacular sunsets.

You will arrive to the Sahara desert camp before the sun sets. Once you have settled into your camp, Enjoy climbing one of the dunes nearby to gaze at the beauty in the Sahara desert. An enlightening Moroccan meal will be prepared under the starlight. Then, you'll be ready to try your hand at drumming alongside the nomadic tribesmen. In the evening the camp hosts can entertain with Tamtam drums. Make use of the dunes that are close by, revealing the most stunning display of shooting stars as well as sparkling constellations.
